This chorizo omelette makes a really satisfying meal.

Serves 2 
Takes 15 minute to cook

Ingredients

2 extra large organic eggs
2 teaspoon oil
100grams chorizo
1 pc. garlic
salt and pepper





















Procedure


1. Take eggs and beat in a bowl 
2. Crushed the chorizo and add to the egg mixture.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan until hot, add the garlic and saute, reduce the heat and add the egg mix, stirring to begin with, until nearly all the egg has set.
4. Add Salt and Pepper to taste.
5. serve with hot plain rice.

Ingredients

  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 700grams pork with fat, cut into bite size cubes
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar (suka)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce (patis)
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 pieces yard-long beans (sitaw), sliced into 1-inch lengths


Procedures:

  • Saute garlic in cooking oil. Add pork and stir-fry until brown.
  • Add vinegar and simmer; don't stir until vinegar boils and releases its acidic odor.
  • Add pepper, fish sauce and salt and continue simmering over low heat until pork is tender.
  • Before serving, ladle out the pork into a serving dish. Toss beans in the pan and cook until tender. Add beans to the pork and serve together on a platter.

Pinakbet ala Sarah

Pinakbet Ingredients: 


  • 1/2 kilo pork with fat, cut into small pieces
  • 1 Ampalaya (bitter melons) sliced to bite size pieces
  • 2 Talong (eggplants), sliced to bite size pieces
  • 3 pieces of okra, cut into two
  • 1/2 kalabasa (squash),sliced to bite size pieces
  • 10pcs. of batong (long bean), sliced to 2 inches size
  • 2 head garlic, minced
  • 1 onions, diced
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, crushed and sliced
  • 3 tablespoon of bagoong alamang
  • 1 1/2 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste



Pinakbet Cooking Instructions:

  • In a cooking pan, fry the pork until brown, remove the pork from the pan and set aside.
  • On the same pan, saute garlic, onion, ginger, and tomatoes
  • In a separate pan, boil water and add bagoong.
  • Add the pork in the pan and mix in the sauteed garlic, onion, ginger and tomatoes. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10minutes.
  • Add in the vegetables starting with squash, ampalaya and batong, then after awhile when almost cook, add talong and okra and cook until all the vegetables are done, careful not to overcook.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with plain rice.
